Sun Blasts 3:43 For Chinese 400 Crown

Olympic champion Sun Yang, facing a new coaching regime after China nationals in Huangshan, Anhui Province, dominated the 400m freestyle, leading from go to gold in 3:43.97.
"I'm very confident in 400m and 1500m free," the 21-year-old double gold medallist from London 2012 told Xinhua. "But over 200m I still got a lot of rivals from the rest of the world. I'm working on it to get better." Li Yunqi from Henan took the silver in 3:47.96, while Hunan's Wang Kecheng claimed bronze in 3:52.77.
Zhejiang province celebrated a second gold over 400m freestyle when Shao Yiwen took the women's title in 4:07.18.
The men's 200m medley went to Zhang Fenglin, of Shandong, in 1:59.79 seconds, while Hunan's Huang Chaosheng took the 200m breaststroke in 2:12.67.
The women's 100m breaststroke went to Sun Ye, from Shanghai, in 1:08.84, while the men's 50m backstroke went to Cheng Feiyi, from Liaoning, in 25.37. In the women's 200m backstroke, Shandong's Luan Xiaoxuan, 17, clocked 2:11.72 for victory, while her teammate Zhao Qibin celebrated a 23.60 win in the 50m butterfly.
Shanghai women's 4x100m medley quartet clocked 4:05.27 for victory.
