Noble and Law Named MWC Women's Swimmer & Diver of the Week

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - UNLV freshman Alyson Noble and Air Force Academy sophomore Sarah Law have been selected as the Mountain West Conference women's swimmer and diver of the week, respectively.

At the Husker Shootout, Nov. 17-19, Noble set two season best times and two career best times. Against No. 22 ranked Nebraska, the Moreno Valley, Calif., native placed second in the 1000-yard freestyle (10:16.28) and the 1650-yard freestyle (17:20.49), both season highs. She also set career highs with her 2nd-place finishes in the 500-yard freestyle (4:58.54) and the 200-yard freestyle (1:53.62). As a member of the winning 400- and 800-yard freestyle relay teams, Noble helped the Rebels set season bests with times of 3:32.07 and 7:39.58, respectively. Currently, Noble's times from the Husker Shootout all place in the top three best times of the Mountain West Conference.

Earning Diver of the Week honors for the second consecutive week and third time this season, Law swept both the 1- and 3-meter springboard events against Colorado College and conference rival San Diego State. The Parker, Colo., native posted a score of 271.88 in the 1-meter event and a score of 287.33 on the 3-meter board. This season, Law has placed first on the 3-meter board in every competition she has competed in.
