Therese Alshammar (SWE) could not replicate the blistering 25.07sec world record she set in semis 24 hrs ago and the crown went to Marieke Guehrer, the world cup winner of of a northen winter past from Australia. Her time: 25.48 in a Jaked01.

Silver went to Zhou Yafei (CHN) in 25.57 and 0.01sec behind Ingvold Snildal (NOR) took the bronze.
