FINA has officially ratified the 100m IM record of 1:00.41 set by Jenny Thompson, USA at the recent Sydney World Cup. The previous record of 1:00.43 was set by Martina Moravcova SVK at the recent LEN European Short Course Championships in Sheffield and was approved by FINA only a day ago. This means Martina officially held the record for only a day.
