- Eduardo Lima Luiz BRA set a meet record in the 400m freestyle with his time of 3:53.99
- Rogerio Romero BRA set a meet record in the 200m backstroke with his time of 1:59.77
- Brazillian Mens 4x200m free relay team set a meet record with their time of 7:34.29
Womens Highlights:
- Patricia Comini Silva BRA set a South American and meet record in the 200m breaststroke with her time of 2:33.64
- Monique Ferreira BRA set a South American and meet record in the 200m freestyle with her time of 2:02.39
- Eileen Coparropa of PAN set a new meet record in the 50m freestyle with a time of 26.03
- Fabiola Molina BRA set a meet record in the 100m backstroke with his time of 1:03.22
