MOSCOW - At the Russian Championships, Roman Sludnov broke the world record in the 100m breaststroke semi-final with a time of 1:00.36. The record was held by Fredrik deBurghgraeve BEL who recently retired after failing to make the Belgium Olympic. His record of 1:00.60 was set in the prelims at the Atlanta Olympics.
