The Dolphins have been fuelled by a new principal sponsor: for the next five years, EnergyAustralia will back the Aussie squad, the board of Swimming Australia Limited has announced today.

"In a partnership which will see EnergyAustralia as the naming rights sponsor for the EnergyAustralia Swim Team, the  2012 EnergyAustralia Swimming Championships and the EnergyAustralia Go Swim development program amongst other benefits, Swimming Australia CEO Kevin Neil said the announcement is a huge boost for the sport," stated the federation.

The first meet to use the energy firm as title sponsor will be the Olympic trials (2012 EnergyAustralia Swimming Championships) in Adelaide from March 15 to 22.
