One of the big themes of shiny suit world titles last summer was that 100m 'fly final among women in which breaking 57sec was made to look like a walk in the park. I’m just going to take my time and work my way toward London."
Two other meet marks fell, to Olympic champions Rebecca Soni (Plainsboro, N.J.) and Japan’s Kosuke Kitajima, both in the 100m breaststroke, on 1:06.23 and 1:00.82 respectively. After an encouraging 400m free, Katie Hoff put in another best-effort since Olympic year 2008, with a strong 1:57.58 win in the 200m free, ahead of Ariana Kukors (Auburn, Wash.) and Kate Ziegler (Fairfax, Va.), on 1:58.95 and 1:59.77 respectively.
