Federica Pellegrini is to work under the guidance of coach Stefano Morini after the death of her long-time mentor and Italian head coach Alberto Castagnetti last month. 

Pellegrini's choice is a logical one: Morini was assistant to the popular Castagnetti in Verona and knows Pellegrini's regime inside out. Pellegrini said that she would continue to work in Verona with Morini with her "usual determination". This weekend, she will race for the first time since Italy mourned Castagnetti at a  local meet in Viareggio.

Castagnetti died in the days following a by-pass operation.
