Rafa Muñoz, of Spain, is aiming to become the latest addition to the Marseilles club in France, according to El Periódico Córdoba. The club is already tipped as the latest port of choice for Laure Manaudou after the woes of Beijing.

Muñoz is currently in Córdoba with coach María del Mar Gamito, while his club is trying to raise enough funds to help the swimmer shift to Marseilles, where he would find a more competitive training environment. The swimmer will make his mind up and make his move sometime over the coming few weeks, according to the Spanish press. A move to France would prevent him from racing at Spanish short-course nationals but Muñoz is slated to race at the European s/c Championships in Croatia in December.
