Barcelona 2013: The FINA Cuts for the 2013 World Championships scheduled to be held in Barcelona were released today. Read carefully for deeper understanding. If a National Federation enters only one (1) swimmer per event all swimmers entered must meet the qualifying B standard time. If two (2) swimmers are entered in the same event, both of them must meet the qualifying A standard time. etc. Americans have a tiny window ledge on the rest of the world, the start period for qualification July 1 this year, a few sessions of the US Olympic trials not only beyond the cut of for London 2012 entries (allowed by FINA on the basis that it needs to process a global mailbag and can afford to wait for one country but not many) but inside the cut off for Barcelona 2013.
