Guadalajara (MEX), Hong Kong (HKG) and Kazan (RUS) are in the race to host the FINA World Championships in 2015 or 2017. The vote by the FINA Bureau will be made on July 15 on the eve of the 14th World Championships in Shanghai (CHN) after each of the bidders make sits final presentation. 

In a statement, FINA said: "If two bids are judged capable of hosting FINA World Championships, the Bureau will award the organisation of the two editions at the same time." Barcelona  will host the 15th World Championships from July 19-August 4, 2013.
