USA: Chloe Sutton (Mission Viejo, Calif./Mission Viejo Nadadores) brought her Missouri grand prix campaign to a close with victory in the 1,500m free in 16:56.98, ahead of Taylor O’Brien (17:09.91) and Gillian Ryan (17:30.12). That marked Sutton's fourth win at the meet (200m to 1,500m). Venezuela's Ricardo Monasterio added the 800m free, in 8:15.82, to his 1,500m win on Sunday. Next home in the 800m were Alex Di Giorgio in 8:19.44 and Vertti Perez in 8:24.48. Meanwhile, Nick Thoman, winner of 100m and 200m back at the Missouri GP this past weekend, has signed for TYR. “I am very excited ... ,” Thoman said. “The company is very generous and supportive of their athletes and I anticipate having a lot of success in their products."
