The International Swimming Hall of Fame in Fort Lauderdale will play host to the 2002 Phillips 66 Summer National Championships, Aug. 13-17. The meet will be held at the Hall of Fame Aquatic Complex.

Since the pool's opening, eight world records have been broken, including two at the 1991 Phillips 66 Summer Nationals. Those marks belonged to Martin Zubero (200m back, 1:57.30) and Mike Barrowman (200m breast, 2:10.60). The last Nationals to be held in Fort Lauderdale were in 1996.
