Swimnews Magazine Publisher and Editor Nick Thierry was inducted into the International Swimming Hall of Fame this past weekend at ceremonies in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

Nick was inducted as a "Contributor" to the sport. Honouring his years of dedicated work and service covering swimming. Nick was presented his award by long time friend and Hall of Fame Member, Al Schoenfield.

Also inducted into the Hall of Fame this year were swimmers, Janet Evans (USA), Tom Jager (USA), Kristina Egerszegi (HUN) and Jeff Rouse (USA). Former swimmer and now television sports broadcaster Donna DeVarona, received the Al Schoenfield Media Award.
