US Swimmer Josh Davis had a new 50 meter pool in his hometown named after him.

Davis attended the opening ceremonies yeaterday for the new "Josh Davis Natatorium" which is located in his old North East School District.

The new state of the art facility cost the city of San Antonio $7.2 million to build and has seating on both sides of the deck for up to 1,500 people in total.

Davis is the holder of the 200m free American record with a time of 1:46.73.
