The third leg of the Telkom Virgin Active Swim Challenge Series once again proved a huge success as Shaun Dias who continued on his winning ways, equaling the South African 5k domestic record at the Albert Falls Dam on Sunday.

The 17-year-old Dias remained unbeaten over both the 5km and 1km distances at the Bon Accorde Park venue and took full advantage of the perfect weather conditions for open water swimming. Dias completed his race to equal former national champion, Kenneth Smiths
