COLLEGE STATION - Jenny Thompson broke the 50 fly world record with 26.05, bettering her own 26.48 fro 1997. She broke the 100 fly record yesterday.

She than scratched from the finals to fly back to Stanford where she has lectures tomorrow that she cannot miss. She is attending pre-med school.
