
ATLANTA - In its most dominating performance since 1993, the Kenyon College women's swim team posted 560.5 points and captured its 19th NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championship. The Ladies swept all five relay events for the first time in ten years and won nine of the twenty championship events contested.
The Ladies finished 210.5 points ahead of second-place Williams College, which scored 350 points. Host Emory University placed third with 298 points, last year's runner-up Denison University place fourth with 288 points and the College of Wooster took fifth with 203 points.
The team victory for Kenyon was by the widest margin since the Ladies won by 231.5 points over second-place UC San Diego in the '93 season.
Carleton's Marie Marsman, who won the 100-yard freestyle and the 200-yard freestyle was named the NCAA Division III Swimmer of the Year. Williams
