Icelandic National Team Championships

At the 31st Icelandic National Team Championships held this past weekend several Icelandic records were broken.

The first was was on day one by Jakob Johann Sveinsson who bettered his two year old record in the 200m breaststroke by 2.97 sec., swimming a time of 2:11.55. The following day he broke his second record of the meet taking 0.18 seconds off the 100m breaststroke record with his time of 1:02.34.

Orn Arnarson bettered his own record in the 100m butterfly, swimming a time of 54.42, this bettered his previous record of 54.74.
