FIRST SWIMMING POOL IN THE OLD CHURCHYARD
On 6th May, 1756, the first known Baths in Liverpool, England, were opened
by a private person in Old Churchyard. The building contained salt and
fresh water private baths and two hot baths. Later in the 18th century,
this building became the "Baths Coffee House".
